The Brief

Diamedica is the market leader in safe and affordable anaesthetic equipment for low-resource environments.

On a humanitarian mission to provide life-saving sustainable healthcare devices to areas of limited logistical support, Diamedica needed to digitally transform their online experience to improve their product quoteflow and expand their international market share.

Low-resource solutions for harsh environments

Seamless language switching

Partnered with major international NGOs and distributors, a well-designed language switch option was top priority to support healthcare providers and connect with their global audience. A multisite digital solution was essential to reinforce Diamedica’s branding across different countries. 

During our discovery session, our stakeholder analysis identified that a French website would elevate community and customer connection, attract traffic and retain existing stakeholders. Our team developed a seamless language switching feature to improve user experience for website visitors. Throughout the development process, we continuously ran accessibility audits to ensure Diamedica’s solution was inclusive in over 80 countries. This resulted in a 100% score for web accessibility.

Best fit solution

Our research showed that the biggest factor of user satisfaction is the speed of website response.

Our primary goal was to craft a low-resource digital solution, optimised to perform efficiently in low and middle-income countries with poor online and digital access. By reducing bloat, our user-centric solution overcame widespread bandwidth barriers, ensuring Diamedica’s website worked effectively over low internet speeds without compromising on design and functionality. This allowed Diamedica to enhance their user experience through an attractive, responsive and easy to navigate design, while maintaining our client’s moral integrity for technological inclusivity.

Replatforming from WordPress to Statamic

We recommend to all our clients to make a strategic transition to a more cost-efficient, highly adaptable and safer CMS platform like Statamic. To kickstart Diamedica’s digital transformation, we migrated our client’s WordPress website to Statamic. This enabled our team to craft a bespoke website tailored to the needs of Diamedica’s audience. With ongoing support from our team, switching to Statamic allows Diamedica to easily customise and improve their website to help serve their community better than ever before.
