Project Overview

Building a platform for connection, not just attendance

GreenTech Gathering is more than an industry event. It is a growing community focused on accelerating climate action through better technology, better conversations, and stronger connections.

The challenge was not just to launch a website, but to create a digital foundation that could support a fast-growing event while attracting the right audience. Founders, innovators, policymakers, and sustainability leaders, all with a shared intent to move things forward.

We partnered with GreenTech Gathering to design and deliver a platform that brings clarity to the proposition, builds momentum through marketing, and supports a community that continues to evolve.

The Challenge

Building momentum and attracting the right audience

Launching an event is one thing. Building a room full of engaged, relevant people is another.

GreenTech Gathering needed a digital presence that could quickly answer key questions. What is it? Who is it for? Why does it matter?

At the same time, it needed a consistent identity that could carry across digital and physical touchpoints, from the website through to the event experience itself.

The challenge was to create a cohesive platform and brand system that balances clarity, speed, and long-term growth.

The Solution

Clarity that drives action and builds community

We designed a website focused on simplicity and clarity. Messaging was refined to communicate purpose immediately, supported by intuitive user journeys that help visitors decide quickly whether the event is right for them.

Alongside the platform, we developed a marketing approach built around consistency rather than short-term spikes. Campaigns were designed to build awareness gradually, reaching relevant audiences and reinforcing the event’s positioning over time.

The result is a digital experience that does more than inform. It supports decision-making, drives attendance, and strengthens the community with each iteration.

Brand & Experience

Creating a unified identity across digital and physical touchpoints

A key part of the project was developing a modern, flexible brand identity that could scale with the event.

We created a visual system designed to feel progressive, accessible, and recognisable across every touchpoint. From typography and colour to iconography and layout, the identity balances clarity with energy, reflecting both the seriousness of the mission and the openness of the community.

This extended beyond the website into printed materials and the in-person experience. Event assets including signage, wayfinding, lanyards, and collateral were designed to create a consistent and cohesive environment.

The result is a brand that works seamlessly across digital and physical spaces, strengthening recognition and reinforcing the experience from first interaction through to the event itself.

Community Growth

From launch to a room full of the right people

With the right digital foundation in place, GreenTech Gathering was able to scale its reach while maintaining audience quality.

The platform and marketing strategy worked together to attract individuals who are actively engaged in climate and technology, rather than simply increasing volume.

The result speaks clearly. Over 1,000 attendees brought together around a shared goal.

Not just growth. The right kind of growth.

Measured Impact

Making low-carbon performance visible

Sustainable websites are often discussed in theory. This project focused on making that impact measurable.

The platform achieves a sustainability score of 90%, performing cleaner than the global average. This reflects a series of deliberate decisions across design and development.

Lighter pages. Efficient assets. Streamlined structure.

Each choice reduces unnecessary data transfer and lowers the overall digital footprint, without compromising performance or usability.

Scalability

Built for events and evolving content

Events are dynamic. Agendas shift, speakers change, and audiences grow.

The platform was designed to adapt without adding complexity. A flexible CMS allows the team to update content quickly, launch new event pages, and refine messaging as needed.

Navigation remains clear and focused, ensuring users can find key information quickly, whether they are booking tickets, reviewing speakers, or exploring past events.

As the event grows, the platform scales with it.

Event Materials

Designing decks that communicate

Beyond the website, we designed a suite of slide decks and invitation materials to support both outreach and the in-room experience.

For the event itself, presentation decks were designed to support speakers and organisers, ensuring consistency across sessions while keeping content easy to follow and engaging. Typography, layout, and pacing were carefully considered to work effectively in a live environment, where clarity and readability are critical.

These materials extend the brand beyond the website, creating a cohesive experience from first invitation through to the event itself.

Marketing

Building a community, not just traffic

Driving clicks is straightforward. Building a community requires a different approach.

We supported GreenTech Gathering with a marketing strategy focused on attracting people who genuinely care about climate and technology. Clear positioning, consistent messaging, and targeted campaigns ensured the right audiences were reached across channels.

This creates a compounding effect. Each event builds on the last, strengthening awareness, engagement, and long-term growth.

Supporting growth beyond launch

Our work with GreenTech Gathering continues beyond the initial launch.

We support ongoing updates, performance monitoring, and marketing activity to ensure the platform evolves alongside the community.

As attendance grows and expectations shift, the digital experience adapts without losing clarity or focus.

For a community built around progress, the platform plays a key role in enabling it.
